UC Lit & UCSAA Present a Seminar by Charles Levi Print
Wednesday, 25 November 2009, 5:30pm - 7:00pm Hits : 9944

"Politicians, Lawyers, Defrocked Priests and That Guy Who Shot His Leg Off: Secrets of the names on the JCR walls."

Dr. Charles Levi wrote his doctoral thesis on the history of the UC Lit, the oldest student government in Canada. Join Dr. Levi on November 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the Junior Common Room, the very room whose walls bear the names of former Lit members going back to 1854. Enjoy the talk and stick around to mingle with fellow UC history buffs over snacks and refreshments at a post-seminar reception.

Presented by:

The UC Literary and Athletic Society
&
The UC Student-Alumni Association
