The 2012 University College summer housing session starts on Monday, May 7, and ends at noon on Friday, August 24. 

(Please note that we cannot accommodate requests to arrive before May 7 or depart later than August 24.)

Room availability as of May 15:

We are now sold out of single rooms in Whitney Hall and Morrison Hall for the summer.

Twin rooms in Whitney Hall are still available for the whole summer; however, we do not arrange roommates.  Two people must apply to share a twin room together.

Summer housing at University College is open to anyone who is a University of Toronto student or staff member, or to anyone who is a student or staff member at any other college or university in the world.  (University of Toronto students and staff receive preferential rates.)  Everyone must present a valid student card or proof that they are staff at a college or university when they register.

Dining Dollars are a unique and special part of summer housing at University College.  Everyone receives a Dining Dollar card at registration.  The card can be used to purchase meals and snacks at Reznikoff’s Cafe, located on the ground floor of Morrison Hall. Our summer housing rates are already very competitive.  Dining Dollars makes them even more convenient and affordable.

Summer housing at University College is not like staying in a hotel or hostel. We strive for a sense of community in our residences. Regular meetings are held to discuss issues of common concern.  Residents have access to trained dons who provide support and enforce community standards.

Our focus on community means that University College does not offer summer housing for large groups or conferences.

The two University College residences that are open for summer housing are Whitney Hall at 85 St. George Street, and Morrison Hall at 75 St. George Street. Both are at the very heart of the University of Toronto's downtown St. George campus. View a map.
