Photo credit: Jason Krygier-Baum Every year UC Book Sale workers fill the East and West Halls and two downstairs classrooms with thousands of donated books in good condition. With over 75, 000 items in more than 60 categories everyone finds something of interest for personal, academic or business use. The Sale offers happy hunting for searchers for out-of-print, hard-to-find and collectible books. Prices range from less than a dollar for paperbacks (Friday to Sunday), up to ten dollars for thousands of items in various categories. Specially selected books are available in our Collectible and Treasure areas from ten dollars and up.
Part of the Toronto book scene for 33 years, the Sale has become an autumn institution. Proceeds support students and UC's Laidlaw Library.
Throughout the year, the Book Shop at UC offers a constantly changing selection of books donated to the Sale. In addition, listings for about 6,000 of our quality books are at Abebooks.com. These books are available by mail to buyers anywhere in the world or, with advance notice, we will bring them to the Book Shop at UC.
