Thrive at UC is the alternative orientation which runs all day from September 7th-8th. It is hosted by the Office of the Dean of Students. We strive to create a more low-key, academically focused orientation program that will prepare students for both academics and co-curricular experiences at U of T.
Your role as a student leader:
We will be relying on you for support throughout the program in various ways. You will be running some group activities, helping serve and clean up during meals, and most importantly getting to know our students and helping to make them feel welcome at UC!
By committing to volunteer for one or both days, you would be required to be at UC by 9:30 am until 9:00 pm. This includes training, free breakfast, lunch. and dinner. The training session will be on Saturday September 5th at noon - 2 pm and a pizza lunch will be provided.
If you are interested in taking part in this opportunity please fill out this form at your earliest convenience. Check out the schedule for more information. I’d also be happy to provide more details about the program just e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
