Receive a Warm Welcome to the Community with UC Orientation
Orientation is a week-long transitional program that aims to introduce first-year students to university life. Upper year students, called Leaders, help facilitate the week, which is a combination of academic programming and exciting events that help first years meet other UC students.
All students new to University College and living in UC residences are welcome!
UC prides itself on being a diverse and inclusive space. We strive to make all incoming students feel welcome and included in Orientation regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, language, financial background and other identifiers. If you have any concerns about participating in Orientation or worry about your comfort and safety during any events please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to hear them and accommodate you wherever possible.
Orientation has a combination of engaging in-person and online social opportunities for all incoming students, and educational programming to prepare you for University. To learn more about the different ways to participate in Orientation, visit the University College Orientation Website
