UC Wellness Ambassadors

The UC Wellness Ambassador program offers all UC students the opportunity to take care of their own wellbeing while taking on leadership opportunities to support the wellbeing of their peers.

What Does a UC Wellness Ambassador Do?

The first job of the Wellness Ambassador is to learn what is important to their own wellbeing -- they attend 5 workshops created to offer support and advice on the many ways to take care of themselves.

After attending the Workshops, UC Wellness Ambassadors determine what skills and habits they want to take on to improve their own mental health, and then it is their turn to help others!

During the school year, each Wellness Ambassador must create or support at least one UC Wellness Initiative based on the Wellness Strategies that they discover are important to them.

UC Wellness Ambassador Workshops

The modules that each UC Wellness Ambassador attend cover the following topics:

  1. Mindfulness
  2. Time Management and Prioritization
  3. Physical Health & Wellness
  4. Community Building
  5. Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility
  6. Personal Reflection
