Program Assistant, Equity & Diversity (Job ID 167410)
As part of the team in the Office of the Dean of Students at University College, the Program Assistant, Equity & Diversity will work collaboratively with the Student Life and other staff to support the development and facilitation of virtual programs, events and educational discussions around equity and diversity issues. This is an excellent opportunity to build on current knowledge of equity and diversity and support the self-reflection and development of students within University College's diverse residence and commuter communities.
- Assisting in the planning and facilitation of virtual group discussions and educational programs on issues of equity & diversity for students with diverse identities and experiences
- Collaborate with Community Coordinators, student leaders and campus partners to develop equity-based educational programming
- Support the delivery of virtual programs and initiatives to support inclusion and community-building
- Develop informational displays and social media content to support education, awareness and community building
- Experience in program delivery and/or small group facilitation
- Knowledge and personal engagement with the principals of equity & diversity
- Knowledge and personal engagement with at least one of the following areas: anti-racism, cultural diversity, religious plurality, sexual and gender diversity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Teams is an asset
Student Life Programs Assistant, Leadership and Engagement (Job ID : 167415)
As part of the team in the Office of the Dean of Students at University College, the Student Life Programs Assistant will work collaboratively other staff to support the development, delivery and assessment of a student leadership series at University College. The series will consist of regular events and initiatives to promote student leadership, involvement and well-being through campus and community engagement
- Supporting with the coordination and development of the University College Student Leadership Series
- Assist with general program administration and logistics of programs
- Supporting the facilitation of virtual leadership workshop and activities
- Communicating with various campus partners and resources
- Assisting with the development of promotional materials
- Assisting with post-event assessment
- Updating and developing online communications (website, social media etc.)
- Supporting with the coordination and development of the University College Student Leadership Series

Residence and Student Life Communications Assistant (Job ID: 167419)
As part of the team in the Office of the Dean of Students at University College, the Student Life Communications Assistant will work collaboratively with the Community Coordinators, Residence Dons, and other staff to support the College's residence and student life programming.
- Supporting the development of virtual programming and activities in residence and across the College
- Creating online communications and promotions of upcoming events (newsletters, monthly calendars, website, etc.)
- Ensuring a consistent presence on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Coordinating virtual tours of the residences and the College
- Assisting with data entry and logging of information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with various social media platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with video editing software is an asset
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledge of the University College Community (Residences,Commuter Student Centre, Resources) is an asset
