9:30 to 10:30 am: Writing Grammatical Sentences - How to write clearer, more varied, and more sophisticated sentences

10:45 to 11:45 am: Editing for Grammar - How to address common issues such as subject-verb agreement, verb tense, and word choice

12 to 1 pm: Making Punctuation Work for You - Take advantage of commas, colons, semicolons, dashes, and parentheses

All workshops this year will be offered through Zoom. To attend a workshop, self-enrol in Writing Plus on Quercus at uoft.me/writingplus. Prior to the starting time, navigate to the workshop on the schedule.

The St. George Campus College Writing Centres, in collaboration with University of Toronto Libraries, Career Exploration & Education, and Academic Success, are offering this campus-wide series of academic skills workshops to the University’s entire student body. All workshops are free and there is no need to pre-register. Come for one, or come for all!
