The Founding College of the University of Toronto

Art Museum Temporarily Closed

Announcements

In keeping with the University of Toronto’s efforts to prioritize the safety of the community by encouraging social distancing as a measure to help disrupt the chain of transmission of COVID-19, at this time, the Art Museum has made the difficult decision to close current exhibitions one week ahead of their scheduled end date of March 21.

All public programs are cancelled and the following three exhibitions are closed to visitors as of Tuesday, March 17:

  • Listening to Snow at the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery
  • Requiem for the Norm: Lorenza Bottner at the University of Toronto Art Centre
  • Weather Amnesia at the Jackman Humanities Institute (which may re-open)

While we are sorry for this inconvenience, we look forward to being able to welcome visitors back to the Art Museum soon. Please see the Art Museum website for up to date information.
