Mentorship Programs

We offer mentorship programs at various engagement levels. You can be a mentor to fellow students or be mentored by your peers or alumni.

Find the Right Program for You

Do you remember the questions, excitement and fears you had the summer before beginning your university experience?

Our e-mentorship program connects experienced upper-year students with incoming first-year students before their arrival. As an e-mentor, you provide a valuable personal connection to new students, information about upcoming events, answer questions, provide referrals to campus resources and assist in their transition to university. E-mentors also facilitate online communities for new students to meet each other to help prepare for their first days in university.

All first-year students are automatically enrolled in this program. Upper-year students can apply to be an e-mentor.

Do you want to learn new skills to succeed after graduation? Grow your network and make connections to support your career with the help of University College alumni.

Open to third- and fourth-year students. We match you with an appropriate alumni mentor in your area of study or career interest, whom you will meet at a meet-and-greet and networking event. Connect with your mentor over the academic year and develop a career plan with our career educator.
