Recent University College alumna and indigenous activist Jennifer Sylvester (BA 2017 UC) was invited to take part in a CBC News panel about removing the names of controversial historical figures from schools.
Due to an on-going major modernization of the Morrison Hall elevators, the University College Residences will be hiring several Elevator Attendants to operate the elevators during the construction period. Elevator Attendants will be responsible for responding to requests for elevator service from residents of Morrison Hall, operating the elevator in “service” mode, and providing a high level of student service to residents.

The curtain has closed and the reviews are in for the University of Toronto International Summer Theatre program, a new intensive arts immersion program that was offered for the first time this past summer at University College.
“Just take it!” says student Lilian Adom, who is originally from Ghana and lives in Hong Kong. “This isn’t just a theatre workshop. The program is very diverse and covers all areas—backstage, costuming, and lighting, as well as acting.”
