Choosing Your Courses

The Faculty of Arts & Science and the University College Academic Advising & Registrar’s Office offer resources and information sessions to help you choose and enrol in your courses for first year.

First Year Planning Guides

Join us on UC 101 for a warm welcome to the UC community, to learn more about planning for your first year, and to connect with advisors and your fellow incoming students.

The Faculty of Arts & Science also provides a new student guide to help you plan for your arrival in September.

Course Selection Tools: Calendar, Timetable, and Degree Explorer

The Academic Calendar provides information about your degree requirements, program requirements, and Faculty rules and regulations. You can use the Calendar to search for first year course requirements for every program offered in the Faculty of Arts & Science.

Explore the Academic Calendar

The Course Timetable provides a listing and schedule of all courses offered this year, and will help you build your first-year schedule.

Online Course Selection Q&A Sessions

Over the summer, UC will be offering opportunities for you to connect virtually with each other and academic advisors in the Academic Advising & Registrar’s Office to ask your questions about the course selection and enrolment process.

These sessions will be hosted on UC 101, your virtual space on Quercus, where you'll find answers to all of your course enrolment and registration questions.

Still Have Questions?

If you still have questions about your course enrolment, send us an email at uc.registrar@utoronto.ca or call the Academic Advising & Registrar’s Office at 416-978-3170.
