Transition and Orientation

Choose from a variety of welcome events and orientation programs for incoming first-year students.

Over the summer, there will be online opportunities for you to connect with your fellow students and get answers to your questions about courses, programs, fees, finances and student life at the college. In late August/early September, register for the full six-day orientation, the two-day academic-focused orientation or just stop by for UC Day – it’s up to you.

Welcome Sessions and Orientation events focus on welcoming you to your new home, helping you connect with other first-year students, and giving you a chance to learn about university life with an opportunity to explore the world-class city of Toronto.

We know that starting University can be exciting and a little daunting. No need to worry, though: our exciting and fun first-year events will help you transition to campus life as you start your new journey. These are experiences that you are sure to never forget.
