The annual UC Fall Book Sale returns this October!
Join us at University College October 1-4, 2026 for our used book sale. Whether you're looking for novels, cookbooks, memoirs, or rare books, we will have an enormous selection available.
*Thursday, October 1, 10 am - 6 pm
Friday, October 2, 10 am - 6 pm
Saturday, October 3, 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday, October 4, 10 am - 6 pm
*Admission on Thursday, October 1 is $5 per person; students get in free with ID. There is no admission charge Friday-Sunday.

Getting to the Sale
The University College Book Sale is fully accessible.
There is an accessible, level entry to University College by the Paul Cadario Conference Centre and an elevator to the second floor.Parking is available in the Landmark Parking Garage under King's College Circle.
The nearest TTC stop is Museum Station, though the station is under construction and is only accessible via stairs. The 94 and 13 buses stop near University College.
Fully accessible bathrooms are available on site.

Volunteer at the Book Sale
We are currently seeking energetic, enthusiastic and flexible volunteers who love books to help us at the sale, and during the set-up period and on takedown day.
Book Sale volunteer roles:
Set-up volunteer duties include organizing sections and the books within subject categories. This happens in the week leading up to the sale.
Sale volunteer duties include working at payment desks, organizing and restocking tables of books, assisting customers and answering questions, and other tasks. This happens during the sale.
Takedown volunteer duties include packing up material used at the sale and boxing up books for redistribution. This happens the day after the sale.
We will be hosting an orientation on Wednesday, September 16. There will be two drop-in sessions from 1 pm until 3 pm and from 4 pm until 6 pm in the Clark Reading Room (West Hall) in University College. Just drop by within either timeframe to learn more about UC Books and the important role that all our volunteers have in making our annual sale a success. Experienced volunteers will be on hand to meet with you, describe the job duties at the sale and answer any of your questions. Please allow about 30 minutes.
