How are the courses structured?
Students choose between one of four courses, each of which has no more than 30 students enrolled. The courses feature guest speakers as well as field trips across the city.
Several times during the term, there are guest plenaries with draw together students from across all four courses—all organized during regular class time.

Who is eligible?
UC One is open to all first-year students in the Faculty of Arts & Science (St. George Campus) or the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design.

Do I have to be a University College student to be eligible for UC One?
No, UC One is open to students regardless of their college registration.

Do I need to receive an acceptance from U of T before applying to UC One?
Yes. You enrol in UC One in the same process as enrolling in your other courses.

How many credits will I earn?
UC One courses are half credits.

Does UC One count toward a major or specialist in any Arts & Science program?
Canadian Studies; Health Studies; Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies; and Sexual Diversity Studies may count UC One courses towards program requirements. Check their program descriptions.
