Jerry has more than 20 years of experience teaching writing at U of T. He has an undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Toronto (University College), an MSc in computer science from Stanford University, and an MA in English from University of Toronto. His graduate studies in English focused on Shakespeare. Jerry's current research interests include genre theory, voice in the sciences and the epistemological underpinnings of evidence-based medicine, all part of a broader interest in the relationship between the humanities and the sciences.
