Margaret Procter

Margaret Procter holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Toronto, and taught both literature and writing courses before becoming director of the UC Writing Workshop from 1991 to 2000. She served as University of Toronto coordinator, writing support, from 1994 until her retirement in 2012. In that position, she helped develop programs and resources for teaching and learning writing across the university. She still tutors at UC occasionally to remain connected to the exciting learning that happens here.
