Announcing the 2024 UC Writing Award Winners

Writing Centre

The College hosted four writing competitions open to UC and UC program students as part of the annual UC Writing Awards: the Meyer (Mike) Greenstein Memorial Student Award for Writing Excellence, the Norma Epstein Foundation Awards in Creative Writing, the Frederic Davidson Competition, and the Lorne Tepperman Prize in Public Writing.

Here are this year's winners:

Norma Epstein Foundation Awards in Creative Writing:

First prize:

Past UC and National Norma Epstein Award winners include David Adams Richards, Barbara Amiel, Stephanie Bolster, David Cronenberg, Janice Kulyk Keefer, Michelle Landsberg, Anne Michaels, Michael Ondaatje, James Reaney, Colleen Thibaudeau, and Miriam Waddington.
