UC Chef Michael Kobayashi Honoured with U of T's COVID-19 Recognition Award

Congratulations to University College chef Michael Kobayashi, who was honoured with the University of Toronto's COVID-19 Recognition Award.

Since the abrupt beginnings of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kobayashi has shown strong leadership and flexibility as he navigated the crisis with his team. His outstanding commitment to the health and safety of UC students and of his team of frontline workers is unwavering.

From servicing students relying on food services while remaining in residence during the beginning of the pandemic to ensuring new students have reliable and safe food services on campus, Kobayashi's role has been extremely impactful to the well-being of UC students during this difficult time.
