More than 15 years of outstanding service to University College (UC) has resulted in Margaret Fulford receiving an inaugural Exemplary University of Toronto Ambassador (EUTA) Award.

Serving as the UC Librarian since 2007, Fulford has consistently portrayed exceptional leadership skills while collaborating with faculty, students, and staff on a wide variety of projects. These skills were particularly evident and valuable while overseeing the relocation of UC’s library from the Laidlaw wing to a newly renovated space in the east wing over the last several years. Fulford’s outreach and equity work through femfilm.ca, the Canadian Women Film Director Database, has also garnered widespread attention both within and outside of the University of Toronto (U of T).

Established in 2022, the EUTA Awards were created to recognize outstanding service and celebrate the advancement of strategic priorities by librarians and staff at the U of T.
