UC Academic Advising & Registrar's Office
The Academic Advising & Registrar’s Office (AARO) serves as a reliable first stop for information, advising, wayfinding, and support for Indigenous UC students. The AARO provides academic and financial advising to Indigenous students at the college, and can help facilitate connections and warm referrals to other supportive resources on campus.

UC Office of the Dean of Students
The Office of the Dean of Students works with student staff and student leaders to create and deliver intentional programs and engagement opportunities to ensure all UC students have a positive experience. The office also works with college and campus partners to facilitate student supports beyond the classroom.

Indigenous Student Scholarships
University College Scholarships for Indigenous Students
UC offers a range of scholarships which give preference to self-identified Indigenous students at the college. UC’s Scholarship Sorter allows students to identify these scholarships.
University of Toronto Scholarships for Indigenous Students
Award Explorer is a centralized scholarship directory that allows students to filter for awards which give preference to Indigenous students. Under “Nature of Award”, select “Indigenous Students”, where a list of available awards and further information is available to view.

Financial Support for Indigenous Students
Indigenous Tuition Initiative
The University of Toronto has an Indigenous Tuition Initiative Grant to foster and strengthen relationships between U of T and Indigenous communities in Ontario, across Canada, and in the United States. The U of T Indigenous Tuition Grant covers the cost of tuition in eligible undergraduate programs for students from the nine identified First Nations communities.
Indigenous Student Bursaries
University College students can connect with First Nations House to find out how to apply for U of T’s Indigenous student bursaries. Book an appointment on Folio to meet with First Nations House Coordinator of Academic Supports to learn more.
U of T Undergraduate Grants for Indigenous Students
Indigenous students are eligible to apply for U of T Undergraduate Grants throughout their degree, and University College welcomes grant applications from all registered Indigenous students during the optional Summer Session. If you are in financial need, please apply for a U of T Undergraduate Grant or contact the Academic Advising & Registrar’s Office at uc.registrar@utoronto.ca.

Career Supports for Indigenous Students
In partnership with Indigenous Student Services, U of T Career Education and Exploration (CxED) offers an Indigenous Career Educator and career supports for Indigenous students to explore what they can do with their degree, discover job opportunities in a variety of fields and industries, and consider further education options and plans.

Accessibility Supports for Indigenous Students
Accessibility Services aims to provide a safe, caring, respectful and culturally-supportive environment for Indigenous students who are living with disabilities. Accessibility Services offers both an Indigenous Liaison and an Indigenous Accessibility Advisor to all registered students.
