Gifted from the estate of Pauline Anne Reinboth in memory of Walter (UC’27) and Hyacinth Frisby. To be awarded annually to a UC student in any program in the Faculty of Arts and Science on the basis of academic merit and/or financial need.

Gift of Dr. J.W. Mustard and his sisters in memory of their brother, W.P. Mustard, a graduate of University College and professor of Latin at Johns Hopkins University, of the value of the annual income from the fund. If no candidate qualifies, the scholarship may be awarded elsewhere for the encouragement of classical studies.

Bequest of Professor A.S.P. Woodhouse, distinguished scholar and, for many years, head of the Department of English. This award has a value of $1,500 and may be renewable once for a total possible value of $2,700, to a student intending to specialize in English. The scholarship will be renewed in second year, provided that the student attains a GPA of at least 3.50, including an A in at least one course in English.
Should this scholarship not be renewed, a Special Woodhouse Scholarship, of the value of $1,500, may be awarded to a student who has completed first year, including at least one course in English, and who intends to specialize in English.
