Scholarships & Awards

To provide funding for 3rd and 4th year University College students enrolled in either Specialist or Major programs in the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies.  

Established by a generous gift made by Marguerite Ruth Dow (UC’49). Marguerite Ruth Dow is Professor Emerita of English and Drama at the University of Western Ontario. To be awarded to a University College student enrolled in Drama who has demonstrated financial need. Academic standing will also be considered. Apply using the online grant application available on ACORN.

Gift of Evelyn Henderson McAndrew. The scholarships will be awarded to top students in the fields of drama, music and the visual arts, including film and video studies. In addition, awards will be awarded at admission to students who declare an interest in these areas.

Bequest of the late Colonel R.W. Leonard to a full-time student of the University College in any year who is enrolled in the drama program.
