Show us your UC memory and you could win!

Every day, people take pictures of University College. Whether it's a close up of your favourite doorway or a group of friends in the quad during undergrad, we want you to share your memories with us!

The contest is open to University of Toronto alumni, and should be of University College, its grounds, its buildings, or the UC brand.

  • UC-branded items in foreign locales

Contest Details:

Contest opens: Wednesday, May 14, 2025
Contest closes: Sunday, June 22, 2025
Winner Announced: June 2025

Contest Prizes:

  • Grand Prize (1): A Fujifilm Instax camera
  • Secondary Prizes (2): $25 credit card for 2nd and 3rd places

Rules and Regulations

Eligibility  

  1. Photo must be taken at University College and grounds or its buildings, including Sir Daniel Wilson Hall, Ferguson Dining Hall, Morrison Hall, Whitney Hall, UC Union or photo must feature the University College logo.
  2. Two photos maximum per entrant. All additional entries will be disqualified. 
  3. Photos must have been taken by the University of Toronto alumnus who submits the image, or they must have rights to the image. 
  4. The contest is open to any University of Toronto alumni. 
  5. Entries must be received by June 22, 2025. 

Format  

  1. All entries must be submitted in digital forms, such as .jpg files.
  2. Photographic entries must be accompanied by a photo title and a description of the photo, including the year the photo was taken.
  3. Entries must be received via the official form (linked below). 

Rights  

  1. By submitting your photo entry/entries to the "University College Life" photo contest, you agree to give University College non-exclusive permission to use your photo(s) to promote University College in promotional material. These rights include but are not limited to UC print and electronic publications, events and promotional materials and online venues such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and the UC website. 


Judging  

  1. The Grand Prize winner for the photo contest will be selected by a panel of judges. The decision of the judges is final. The winner will be notified by email in June 2025.   
  2. Everyone who submits a photo of UC will be entered into a draw to win a secondary prize. 


Prizes  

  1. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and no alternative will be given.
