Worried about big data and surveillance? Are governments and corporations spying on you? How are people fighting back? For answers to these questions, and much more, join at us at a screening of the award-winning documentary Black Code, directed by Nicholas de Pencier of Mercury Films. The film is based on a book of the same name by UofT Professor Ron Deibert, who is also featured in the film. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Nicholas de Pencier and Professor Ron Deibert, moderated by Professor Emily Gilbert, Director of the Canadian Studies program at UofT.

All are welcome. No reservations are required, but space is limited. Seats will be available on a first come, first served basis. This venue has some accessible seating.
