UC Alumnus and Faculty Member Professor Jeffrey Rosenthal on Why Polling is Worthwhile

University College alumnus and faculty member Jeffrey Rosenthal (BSc 1988 UC), a professor in the Department of Statistical Sciences at U of T, writes about how election polls work and why they matter in this editorial in the Globe and Mail (paywall).
Last week, on Friday, November 13, 2020, he was interviewed on CBC Radio One about the superstitions associated with that day.
And earlier this fall, Rosenthal delivered the prestigious Rustagi Memorial Lecture at Ohio State University, via Zoom.
