UC Writing Centre instructor Simon Lewsen wins Gold National Magazine Award

Congratulations to UC Writing Centre instructor Simon Lewsen for winning a Gold National Magazine Award in May for "The End of Articling," in PrecedentJD. Simon's recent articles include "The Spanish Flu Rewrote History. Will This Pandemic Do the Same?" (The Walrus, September/October) and "Populism Isn’t Always Xenophobic. Just Ask Ontario’s Premier" (foreignpolicy.com, July 14, 2020). Simon also teaches in the Writing and Rhetoric program at Innis College.
