University College's Dean of Students, Naeem Ordóñez, Recently Honoured with an Outstanding Achievement Award
Faculty, staff, sessional lecturers and graduate student course instructors were celebrated at the annual Arts & Science Outstanding Achievement Awards earlier this month. Melanie Woodin, dean of the Faculty of Arts & Science, presented the awards at the Faculty Club.
UC's Dean of Students, Naeem Ordóñez, was honoured with an Outstanding Staff Award in the Student Life category alongside Berenice Villagómez of the Department of Spanish & Portuguese.
Established in 1999, the Outstanding Staff Awards recognize staff-appointed administrative and technical employees who have achieved excellence in support of the Faculty’s mission of teaching and research. These staff have earned the respect of their colleagues for their professionalism and teamwork, and for making an impact that extends beyond their unit or department.
