To be awarded to students in the Canadian Studies program on the basis of academic merit. Open to students enrolled in the program from any college. Preference given to a student coming from the federal riding of York Centre.

Bequest of Mrs. Ella Ferguson in honour of her husband the Honourable Howard Ferguson, premier of the Province of Ontario 1923-30 (UC 1892). These scholarships are intended to recognize outstanding Ontario students applying from outside the Greater Toronto area in order to encourage enrolment at “the Provincial College.” The award value is $3,000 and is renewable up to 3 times for a total possible value of $12,000.
The scholarships are renewable provided students achieve an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full course equivalents (FCEs) from September to September.
