Graduating Year Awards
The St. Margaret's College Alumnae Association Prize, of the value of the annual income from the Fund. Preference will be given to a woman student who proposes to enrol in the School of Social Work, or who has graduated in Honour Sociology, or otherwise at the discretion of the College council.

Financial Need Awards
Established through the generosity of the friends and family of Susan Iannucci (UC '70) to recognize outstanding University College students in the Humanities who demonstrate financial need. Preference to a student in the Specialist program in English. One award for each of Second, Third and Fourth Year. Financial need will be the primary criterion in selecting recipients. Apply using the online grant application available on ACORN.

Admission Scholarships
The Sydney Hermant Admission Scholarship/Bursary is to be awarded to a student who combines academic potential and financial need with community interest and social involvement as demonstrated at the high school level. This scholarship, given in honour of Sydney Hermant by his four sons, is to provide support of an all-round student in the first year of University study. The selection of such a student to be at the sole discretion of the Principal of University College.

Canadian Studies
To be awarded in recognition of student work in Asian Canadian Studies. The selection will be based on the recommendation of the Director of the Canadian Studies Program, who will consider financial need, academic performance and extracurricular activities. Recipients must satisfy the eligibility requirements of the OSOTF II program. Students from all colleges are eligible.

Established in 1936 by family and friends in memory of Alma Anderson Bastedo (UC 1909) and now including her children, Dorothy Bastedo Cavers (UC 1934), Edgar (Ted) Frank Bastedo (UC 1938), Jean Anne Bastedo and Dr. Donald (Don) Lou Bastedo (UT 1946). To be awarded to a University College student with excellent performance in an English program, with preference to a student whose course of study also includes one or more European languages.
