Bequest of the late Louis Rosenfeld. The award has a value of approximately $400 with a total possible value of approximately $2,400 over 4 years; awarded for general proficiency. The scholarship includes tuition allowance of $500 per year, which is renewable with an annual GPA of at least 3.50 on a course load of four full course equivalents (FCEs) from September to September.

To recognize and encourage outstanding academic performance in science, social sciences and humanities at University College.  Awarded to students finishing their first, second, third, or fourth year of study. Awards vary in value and number.

This bursary is to assist University College Students enrolled in an Actuarial Science program who demonstrate financial need. Apply using the online grant application available on ACORN.

To be awarded annually for deserving achievement by a University College student in a Commerce Program. Financial need may also be taken into account. 

Founded in 1889 by the Rev. Samuel Lyle of the city of Hamilton, accompanied by a financial award.

To be awarded on the basis of financial need to full-time, undergraduate students enrolled in the Humanities in University College with preference to those studying Philosophy. Eligible candidates are identified through the University's UTAPS program.

Established by a gift of the University College Committee in appreciation of Professor Forguson’s term as principal of University College (1989-97), these awards are intended to assist University College students to benefit from the advantages of living in the college’s residences. Financial need is the primary criterion in selecting recipients, but academic merit and community involvement are also considered. Bequest of the late Isabelle Paris MacLachlan (UC 1911), of variable number and value within the limits of the annual income from the fund, available to female students. In awarding these scholarships, financial circumstances will be considered as well as academic standing. The Madeline Lake Turnbull Fellowship is the bequest of Madeline Turnbull (UC 1929). Of the value of the annual income from the fund, this award shall go to an outstanding student who is going on to do graduate work in French or who will have French as an important part of his or her course of study.

Normally two awards per year with a value approximately equal to the academic fees for the winter session in which it is held. The awards are to go to the University College students deemed most needy by the Scholarship & Bursary Committee, provided they have made academic progress sufficient to satisfy the Committee that they would be worthy recipients. Apply using the online grant application available on ACORN.
