Financial Need Awards
Gift of the late Mrs. Kathleen Mabel Mowbray, in honour of her husband, William Mowbray, of the value of the annual income from the fund. Preference is given to a student currently taking English as one of their courses. Apply using the online grant application available on ACORN.

Admission Scholarships
Bequest of Professor A.S.P. Woodhouse, distinguished scholar and, for many years, head of the Department of English. This award has a value of $1,500 and may be renewable once for a total possible value of $2,700, to a student intending to specialize in English. The scholarship will be renewed in second year, provided that the student attains a GPA of at least 3.50, including an A in at least one course in English.

Should this scholarship not be renewed, a Special Woodhouse Scholarship, of the value of $1,500, may be awarded to a student who has completed first year, including at least one course in English, and who intends to specialize in English.

Bequest of the late Professor A.S.P. Woodhouse, for many years head of the Department of English, each of the value of approximately $1,500, to be awarded to students taking at least three courses in English. (Two in each of second and third year)
