Admission Scholarships
Gift of Mrs. James Harris, each of the value of $800 cash, with a total possible value of $2,800, for general proficiency, including the following subjects: Latin and Greek; Latin and French; French and German; two modern languages; Mathematics and Physics. (In awarding one of these scholarships, preference will be given to a student from Ridley College.) The scholarships include tuition allowance of $500 per year which is renewable with an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full credit equivalents (FCEs) from September to September.

Admission Scholarships
Gift of Katherine Ballantine Coutts' grandchildren in honour of her commitment to education and her connections with UC. An admission scholarship is given annually to a student residing in Alberta or in Ontario outside of the GTA (i.e. outside the City of Toronto, and regions of Peel, Halton, York and Durham.)

Established in honour of Kathleen Davis and William G. Davis (UC 1951), premier of the province of Ontario 1971-85, upon the occasion of his retirement as premier. In awarding the two scholarships preference will be given to students enrolled in a program in political science, the former premier’s main area of interest.

Jeanneret (UC 1912), formerly principal of University College and chancellor of the University, and the late Mrs. Jeanneret, in memory of their son, Kenneth Geikie Jeanneret, (UC 1939), who was killed in action in February 1945. The scholarship will be awarded where there may be special need for an award.
