Admission Scholarships
Bequest of Mrs. Ella Ferguson in honour of her husband, the Honourable Howard Ferguson, premier of the Province of Ontario 1923-30 (UC 1892). These scholarships are intended to recognize outstanding students applying from outside Ontario. The award value is $3,000 and is renewable up to 3 times for a total possible value of $12,000. The scholarships are renewable provided students achieve an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full credit equivalents (FCEs) from September to September. Students must be registered in full time studies in order to receive a renewal of their scholarship.

Awarded on the basis of academic merit to an Indigenous UC student. Preference will be given to a student who has completed courses in a law-related undergraduate program.

Gift of the late J.S. McLean, each of the value of up to $3,000 cash, with a total possible value of up to $5,000 over 4 years, for excellence in any subjects or for general proficiency. The scholarships include tuition allowance of $500 per year which is renewable with an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full credit equivalents (FCEs) from September to September.

Gift of Mrs. James Harris, each of the value of $800 cash, with a total possible value of $2,800, for general proficiency, including the following subjects: Latin and Greek; Latin and French; French and German; two modern languages; Mathematics and Physics. (In awarding one of these scholarships, preference will be given to a student from Ridley College.) The scholarships include tuition allowance of $500 per year which is renewable with an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full credit equivalents (FCEs) from September to September.
