Admission Scholarships
Bequest of the late Louis Rosenfeld. The award has a value of approximately $400 with a total possible value of approximately $2,400 over 4 years; awarded for general proficiency. The scholarship includes tuition allowance of $500 per year, which is renewable with an annual GPA of at least 3.50 on a course load of four full course equivalents (FCEs) from September to September.

Bequest of the late Professor Margaret Jane Sinden (UC 1937), who taught German at University College from 1946 to 1979; scholarship is of the value of the annual income from the fund.  Preference will be given to a student taking German who is enrolled in the specialist program in Modern Languages and Literatures, or who is taking a program of courses equivalent to or leading toward that specialty.

Gift of Evelyn Henderson McAndrew. The scholarships will be awarded to top students in the fields of drama, music and the visual arts, including film and video studies. In addition, awards will be awarded at admission to students who declare an interest in these areas.

Bequest of the late Esther Geraldine Millard, who attended University College from 1906-08, in memory of her parents Alexander and T. Elizabeth Millard, and her brother, John Howard Millard. The two awards are based on the annual income from the fund and are not necessarily divided equally. These awards recognize excellence in any subjects or general proficiency and are for candidates from schools outside the Greater Toronto Area who are entering the Sir Daniel Wilson Residence or Whitney Hall.
