Gift of James Mossman (UC 1981) in honour of his father Ted Mossman. These awards have a value of approximately $1,000 and are given to students showing exceptional promise. Preference may be given to students intending to study mathematics.

Gift of the late Arthur Cohen (UC 1903).  The value is approximately $500 plus the tuition allowance for a total possible value of approximately $2,500 over four years; awarded for general proficiency, including English and French. The scholarships include tuition allowance of $500 per year which is renewable with an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full credit equivalents (FCEs) from September to September.

To be awarded at admission for excellence in any subject.The award has a value of approximately $2,000 cash with a total possible value of $4,000, for excellence in any subject. Established by Dorel Callendar in memory of her husband, Victor Callendar (UC 1959), and supported by family and friends. To be awarded at admission to a student born or raised in the Caribbean, with preference to students from Grenada. Recipients must be registered at University College and will be selected on the basis of academic merit. Financial need may also be considered.

Bequest of Professor A.S.P. Woodhouse, distinguished scholar and, for many years, head of the Department of English. This award has a value of $1,500 and may be renewable once for a total possible value of $2,700, to a student intending to specialize in English. The scholarship will be renewed in second year, provided that the student attains a GPA of at least 3.50, including an A in at least one course in English.

Should this scholarship not be renewed, a Special Woodhouse Scholarship, of the value of $1,500, may be awarded to a student who has completed first year, including at least one course in English, and who intends to specialize in English.
