Students May Now Book a One-on-One Appointment With Barker Fairley Distinguished Visitor Jennifer Baichwal

In winter 2019, the UC Writing Centre is offering a special opportunity for students interested in documentary film and the Canadian film industry. UC's Barker Fairley Distinguished Visitor for 2019-20, award-winning director and producer of documentary films Jennifer Baichwal, will be available to meet with UC and UC program students in free fifty-minute one-on-one sessions. 

Jennifer Baichwal has been directing and producing documentaries for over 25 years. Her most recent project is Anthropocene. She will be available to meet with students who

  • Have questions about documentary film or the Canadian film industry.
  • Wish to discuss their own film-related ideas.
  • Would like to talk to Jennifer about her work as a director and producer

Jennifer will be available to meet with students on January 8 and January 15, from 10 am to noon.
