Canadian Studies
The Canadian Studies Interdisciplinary Prize, generously supported by Peter Warrian, is awarded to an undergraduate student who writes the best essay on any interdisciplinary aspect of Canadian life, thought, or society and is in financial need. The student must be in the Canadian Studies program or enrolled in a University college course that is sponsored by the Canadian Studies department.

Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies
Two scholarships will be awarded annually on the basis of academic merit; the first to a student with the most distinguished overall academic performance, who is completing his or her graduating year with a Specialist program in Sexual Diversity Studies; the second to an undergraduate completing either a Specialist or a Major in Sexual Diversity Studies combined with an academic interest in the study of politics (through a degree in a politically-relevant program, such as Political Science, Peace and Conflict Studies, International Relations or Equity Studies), or a demonstrated commitment to social justice. Both award recipients will be chosen by the University College Registrar upon the recommendation of the Mark S. Bonham Centre’s Awards Committee. Open to students from outside University College.

Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies
Established primarily to support students in the Sexual Diversity Studies (SDS) Program. Though preference will be given to students in the SDS Program, awards may also be given to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer students enrolled in other programs at the University of Toronto. Although the primary criterion for selection will be financial need based on the requirements of the OTSS program, the Committee may also consider other factors such as a student’s commitment to academic achievement, outstanding volunteer contributions on or off campus aimed at increasing acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people

Canadian Studies
To be awarded in recognition of student work in Asian Canadian Studies. The selection will be based on the recommendation of the Director of the Canadian Studies Program, who will consider financial need, academic performance and extracurricular activities. Recipients must satisfy the eligibility requirements of the OSOTF II program. Students from all colleges are eligible.

Canadian Studies
The Wanda O’Hagan Scholarship is awarded to a Canadian Studies undergraduate student who has demonstrated a commitment to women’s equality and is in financial need. The prize is awarded based on both academic and extracurricular activity. To be eligible, the student must be enrolled in at least one University College course sponsored by the Canadian Studies Program in the year for which the award is given.
