The Marlene Kirsch Korman Memorial Scholarship is to be awarded to the most highly qualified student (with at least A standing) graduating from University College with a BSc and entering a professional school or faculty.

Leadership Awards
Gift of friends and colleagues of Mary Jane Hendrie (UC 1981) who died in the Korean Airline incident of 1983. This award is intended for a student with financial need who has contributed to college life by participating in athletics or other extracurricular activities.

Bequest of the late Miss Catherine S. Michell and Colonel William C. Michell, formerly principal of Riverdale Collegiate Institute. Awards are based on financial need. Academic merit may also be considered. Awards are variable in number and value depending on students’ financial need. Any balance of income may be used for in-course awards of variable value. The J. R. MacGillivray Fellowship is a gift of Elinor MacGillivray in honour of her husband, Professor J.R. MacGillivray, professor of English in University College, 1930-70. To be awarded to a student graduating from University College and pursuing graduate study in the humanities at the University of Toronto.

Travel Awards
The Sally Croll Award for French Study Abroad is a travelling award established by the daughters and friends of Mrs. Sally Croll to honour her lifelong interest in French. The purpose of the award is to allow University College students studying French or knowledgeable in French to go abroad to immerse themselves in a French milieu while pursuing their academic interests. The criteria will be academic merit, financial need, and the merit of the proposal. The award is open to both undergraduates and graduates of University College. It may be used in conjunction with the exchange programs through the Centre for International Experience, as well as Summer Abroad Programs.

Graduating Year Awards
The Samuel James Stubbs Fellowship is the bequest of Helen Eunice Stubbs (UC 1933) in memory of her father, Samuel James Stubbs.  This award is designed to assist a graduating student to pursue graduate study in classics and/or English inside or outside Canada. In selecting a recipient, the committee will be guided mainly by the candidate's financial need, professional interest and academic ability.
