The St. Margaret's College Alumnae Association Prize, of the value of the annual income from the Fund. Preference will be given to a woman student who proposes to enrol in the School of Social Work, or who has graduated in Honour Sociology, or otherwise at the discretion of the College council.

Established through the generosity of the friends and family of Susan Iannucci (UC '70) to recognize outstanding University College students in the Humanities who demonstrate financial need. Preference to a student in the Specialist program in English. One award for each of Second, Third and Fourth Year. Financial need will be the primary criterion in selecting recipients. To be awarded in recognition of student work in Asian Canadian Studies. The selection will be based on the recommendation of the Director of the Canadian Studies Program, who will consider financial need, academic performance and extracurricular activities. Recipients must satisfy the eligibility requirements of the OSOTF II program. Students from all colleges are eligible.

Gift of Dr. Herbert J. Davis, professor of English in University College and later Prefessor of Textual Criticism at Oxford University, in honour of his wife Mrs. Gertrud Davis. To promote the exchange of students between University College and German universities. The scholarship will be awarded to University College students doing university studies in Germany. Both students in upper years and recent graduates are eligible.

To be awarded on the basis of financial need and will be awarded and administered in accordance with the University’s Policy on Student Awards and the UTAPS program, with preference given to Black students at the Faculty of Arts & Science enrolled at University College.

Awards will be made on the basis of financial need demonstrated through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) or on the basis of information provided by an individual on the award application. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) students from all U of T campuses, faculties, colleges and programs will be eligible, with no preference given to those enrolled in the Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies programs or courses. The awards will be administered by the Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at University College in accordance with the University’s Policy on Student Awards and decisions about allocation will be made by its Student Awards Committee. Although the primary consideration will be financial need, the Committee will also consider other factors such as outstanding volunteer contributions on or off campus aimed at increasing acceptance of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered people, as well as academic achievement.
Awards are variable in number and value.

These awards were established by the collection of a $3 levy from University College students from September 2005 to September 2010. They are awarded to University College students who have participated in student life or leadership activities in the university community with a preference for activities in University College. Selection is based on the recommendation of a subcommittee consisting of the registrar, dean of students, co-ordinator of student life and at least two members of the UC Literary and Athletic Society executive. In accordance with the requirements of the OTSS program, the primary criteria will be financial need and Ontario residency. Awards will vary in number and value.
