Bursary fund open to undergraduate students at University College who are entering or continuing studies in political science and/or economics. The recipients of the bursaries will be selected based on the demonstration of financial need. Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies
Recipients will be chosen by the Sexual Diversity Studies Awards Committee in consultation with the UC Registrar. Awards shall be distributed to undergraduate and/or graduate student(s) who identify as LGBTQ or pursuing studies with a focus in sexual diversity at the University of Toronto. Decisions are at the discretion of the SDS Awards Committee and may be awarded to students for a variety of reasons including:  merit based scholarships; unforeseen education expenses; needs based bursaries; leadership and research awards; or other student aid needs as determined by the Committee. Scholarships and awards will be given to students without regard to students’ college membership, faculty or campus.

The awards are to assist students studying in the humanities, preferably in the various branches of classical or modern European literatures, fine art, music or philosophy. Financial need will be the primary criterion in selecting recipients. Academic merit may also be considered.
