Room Types and Amenities

Enjoy the privacy of your own room. Most students are assigned to one of our 600+ single rooms. Each room is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, desk lamp, bookshelf, mirror and plenty of closet and storage space.

Available in Whitney Hall, Morrison Hall and Sir Daniel Wilson Residence.

Start your University adventure with a new best friend – your roommate. We have 50 double rooms for 100 students. Each double room is roughly twice the size of a single room (or larger) and has two of each of the same furnishings – bed, desk, chair, desk lamp, bookshelf, mirror and closets/wardrobes.

Students of all genders use the same washroom facilities, which have private and lockable shower and toilet stalls and three or four shared sinks. Washrooms are cleaned daily on weekdays.

Your living room in residence. Use these multi-purpose lounges to relax, hang out, study or attend residence events.

Residence front desks are open 24/7 to assist with questions, help with maintenance requests, distribute mail and issue keys and packages. You can also borrow equipment such as irons, ironing boards, tools, garbage bags, etc.

Stay connected to the internet right from your room using the Campus Wireless Network (Wi-Fi) or ResNet (wired). Wireless internet is also available in all common areas.

Dedicated spaces to do what you came here for – studying. Good for group projects and inevitable last-minute cram sessions.

Freshly-baked cookies anyone? We know you have a meal plan but it’s nice to cook your own food from time to time. Kitchens in Whitney Hall and Sir Daniel Wilson Residence are equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, sink and prep area. Kitchenettes in Morrison Hall common rooms have a fridge, microwave, sink, cabinets and counter space.

Located in the basement of all three residence buildings, our laundry rooms are equipped with washers and dryers - free for use by all residents!
