Canadian Studies Interdisciplinary Prize

The Canadian Studies Interdisciplinary Prize, generously supported by Peter Warrian, is awarded to an undergraduate student who writes the best essay on any interdisciplinary aspect of Canadian life, thought, or society and is in financial need. The student must be in the Canadian Studies program or enrolled in a University college (UNI) course that is sponsored by the Canadian Studies department.

David & Vivian Campbell Scholarship in Canadian Studies

The David and Vivian Campbell Scholarship in Canadian Studies  is awarded to an undergraduate student in the Canadian Studies program who demonstrates financial need. Students from any college are welcome to apply however they must be enrolled in the Canadian Studies program (minor, major or specialist students are equally eligible).

This award will support an undergraduate essay award which will be open to all U of T undergraduate students in the area of Chinese Canadian community studies.

Honourable Robert P. Kaplan Scholarship for Canadian Studies

To be awarded to students in the Canadian Studies program on the basis of academic merit. Open to students enrolled in the program from any college. Preference given to a student coming from the federal riding of York Centre.

Reuben Wells Leonard Scholarships in Canadian Studies

Bequest of the late Colonel R.W. Leonard, to a student of University College in any year, enrolled in at least one full course equivalent in Canadian Studies. Preference will be given to a student enrolled in the specialist program in Canadian Studies.

Taiwan Entrepreneurs Society of Taipei/Toronto Prize in Canadian Studies

To be awarded to the student with financial need who has the best result in UNI307H1 “Asian Cultures in Canada”. The student must be in the Canadian Studies program or enrolled in a University college (UNI) course that is sponsored by the Canadian Studies program. Students from all colleges are eligible.

Wanda O'Hagan Scholarship in Canadian Studies

The Wanda O’Hagan Scholarship is awarded to a Canadian Studies undergraduate student who has demonstrated a commitment to women’s equality and is in financial need. The prize is awarded based on both academic and extracurricular activity. To be eligible, the student must be enrolled in at least one University College course (UNI course) sponsored by the Canadian Studies Program in the year for which the award is given.
