The deadline for awards is May 15th, 2024.

Entry is open to any undergraduate student registered at University College or enrolled in a UC program course or a course in an affiliated Centre. Course instructors may enter on behalf of a UC student or a student enrolled in a UC program. Please first seek the student's consent. To verify college affiliation, you may email [email protected]

(If you are not a UC student you may be eligible to enter the biennial Norma Epstein National contest.)

You may submit at most one entry for each of the categories listed under Entry Type. If you submit more than one entry in a single category, we will use only the most recent entry. Your entries will automatically be entered into each of the competitions for which they are eligible.

For the categories Academic Essay and Public Writing, students must have received a grade of 85% or higher. Students registered at UC may submit work in these two categories from any U of T course. Non-UC students may submit work only from UC program courses. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions
